A09 - End caps for plastic pipes
lightweight and durable
The A09 series end caps are designed for hydrostatic pressure testing on solid wall plastic pipes. They comply with the specifications of the respective standards (ISO 1167-1 Type A or ASTM D1598 / D1599 free end) and were designed for long-term internal pressure tests. The end closures were developed in cooperation with several experienced users and experts in the field of pressure testing. They are particularly suitable for testing on infrequently changing pipe diameters or in applications that require a particularly light end cap weight. Under these conditions, they provide an extremely economical solution.

Suitable for all common testing conditions
The end caps are suitable for all common testing conditions. Test pressures of up to 100 bar and test temperatures of up to 110 °C are covered safely.

Completely made of stainless steel
All components are made of high quality and durable, non-corrosive materials.
Vertical stability
A distinct collar on the cap offers increased stability due to a larger contact surface. At the same time, it serves as a secure grip surface for handling and disassembly.
Compatible with all pressure test systems
Connections for use with all common pressure test systems are available.

The shape of the end caps and claws enables safe and convenient handling during testing, assembly, disassembly and storage.

Compatible with all solid-wall plastic pipes
Suitable sizes are available for all common solid wall plastic pipes (metric, IPS, CTS). The end caps are compatible with all pipe materials (PA, PB, PE, PE-X, PP, PVC).

Horizontal stability
Flat surfaces on the claws stabilize the mounted test specimen in a lying position and prevent the claws from falling over or rolling away during assembly.
Suitable accessories
The end caps can be supplemented and configured with the accessories of the X series. All components are equally suitable for the pressure and temperature ranges of the respective end caps.
Connecting hoses (X10.H | X20.H)
Thanks to the stainless steel braiding and the use of high-quality materials for couplings and seals, the A-series connection hoses offer a long-lasting and safe solution. They are available with different pressure connections.
Catch cable (X00.A)
The X00.A catch cable can be used for tests in the test bath and for specimens where a brittle failure is expected or cannot be ruled out. It loosely connects the upper and lower caps. This ensures that the end caps can be conveniently removed from the test bath and can be immediately reused after the test.
Pressure connections and accessories (X10.P | X20.P)
A wide range of compatible plug, couplings and adapters are available for adaptations to the individual requirements.
