B20 - End caps for plastic fittings
robust, ergonomic and reliable
The B20 end caps are designed for pressure testing of plastic fittings. They correspond to the specifications of the respective standards (ISO 1167-1 type A or ASTM D1598 / D1599 free end) and can be used for long-term hydrostatic pressure tests as well as for burst or pulsation tests. The end caps are easy to install and seal the fitting reliably. Thanks to the versatile connection options and compatibility with our Connectors, the B20 closures are extremely versatile. In this way, the closures can be adapted quickly and easily to any testing application and any testing equipment.

Suitable for all common testing conditions
The end caps are suitable for even demanding testing conditions. Test pressures of up to 200 bar and test temperatures of up to 160 °C are covered safely.
Horizontal stability
Flat contact surfaces on the claws stabilize the assembled test specimen on the work surface and prevent the claws from falling over and rolling away during assembly.

All components are weight-optimized in order to achieve the highest level of user-friendliness and occupational safety.

Vertical stability
The flat face of the socket plug serves as a safe support surface during assembly.
