A11 - End caps for large pipes
with xOglide™ technology for effortless and safe assembly
The A11 end caps were developed for pressure testing on solid wall plastic pipes. They comply with the respective standards (ISO 1167-1 Type A bzw. ASTM D1598 / D1599 free end) and can be used for long-term hydrostatic pressure testing as well as for burst- or pulsation- / clyclic pressure testing.
After years of development work, we have designed a unique sealing and assembly concept for large diameter pipe end caps that combines efficiency, cost-effectiveness and occupational safety to an unprecedented degree. At the same time, the end caps have numerous functional features which allow versatile use and support everydays testing.

No chamfering!
Minimal requirements for sample preparation (no chamfering necessary!) significantly reduce the workload.

The closures are available for all common solid wall pipes (metric, IPS, PSM) and are compatible with all commonly used plastic pipe materials (PE, PP, PVC).​

Feet on the caps stabilize the mounted test specimen in a standing position.

Fast filling & emptying
The large main pressure connection enables convenient pre-filling of the specimen after the caps have already been installed. Likewise this allows for quick emptying after testing.

The end caps can be used universally for all common test conditions. Both caps have various connection options.​

Thanks to the stainless steel braiding and the use of high-quality materials for couplings and seals, the A-series connection hoses offer a long-lasting and safe solution. They are available with different pressure connections.
